The new gourmet elephant cake is now available from Care for Elephants. These amazing cakes made by Ben and Jin really are works of art. The base of the cakes are generally made using cooked rice and corn, powdered rice husks, protein pellets, mashed sweet potato or bananas, salt and tamarind. Around the cakes are a variety of fruit and vegetables such as watermelon, pineapple, mangoes, bananas, mandarins, apples, papaya, cucumbers, sweet potato, pumpkin, corn, tamarind and pomelo.
The gourmet cakes will include an incredible fruit carving and could be specially designed with a particular theme. They would be a wonderful surprise for a special occasion such as an anniversary or birthday. One of Ben’s cakes would make an original and unique gift, which at the same time offers a real treat to three beautiful elephants – Sai Thong, Mae Dok and Thad Dao.
Gourmet cakes receive special priority and we will endeavor to provide the photos and a video within 2 weeks from the date of your order. You will receive photos of the cake being made as well as of the elephants eating it (at least 50 photos) as well as an artistically created video, which will be longer than for the other cakes.
